The Google Maps SDK allows the developer to integrate maps based on Google Maps into the iOS application. These maps look exactly same as the maps you see in Google Maps iOS app, and the SDK offers many of the same features.

The Google Maps SDK automatically handles access to the Google Maps server, map display, and take care of user gestures like clicks and drags. Not only had this, but it also enables the user to add markers, poly-lines, ground overlays and much more into the map. These objects provide additional info for map locations, as well as enable user interaction with the map.
